THE BEGINNING
EPIC began with a group of people from Red Rocks Church in Colorado. Their mission was to go to Haiti and reach out to the community there, helping with local needs after the earthquake in 2014.
On the first trip to Haiti, the team met a local pastor who they decided to partner with long-term. Since then, Donny (far left) has taken regular trips to Haiti, continuing to work with the community in Port Au Prince.
Donny met Allen (far right) when he moved to Colorado in 2015. Allen had a similar heart for ministry, and as their friendship grew, the idea for EPIC turned into something bigger.
Donny, Allen, and Kyle (middle) began talking about their vision for a better world, and they ended up creating EPIC: a non-profit umbrella organization that would support both international and domestic projects designed to change the world.
The EPIC Mission
The heart of EPIC is to empower people globally to do what they feel called to do. At EPIC, our passion is to see individuals take responsibility in their own communities in order to create positive, lasting change. Our goal is to provide an umbrella under which these individuals and communities can flourish.
